B.J. Harrison is the new Carlisle High School head football coach. He was hired by the Carlisle School Board during a special meeting Monday night.
Harrison served as the offensive coordinator during the 2025 season under head coach Gary Wilson.
Harrison is a 2009 graduate of Hazen High School. He was an assistant coach when the Hornets won the 2022 Class 2A state title. He’s also coached at Sylvan Hills before coming to Carlisle.
Harrison and his wife Chelsey have children — daughter Maeve and son Bishop.
Last season under Harrison’s direction, the Bison offense averaged 32.8 points per game as the Bison went 10-2, winning a share of the 2A-4 conference title.
Harrison is replacing Gary Wilson, who left to become the defensive coordinator at Prairie Grove.
