The Des Arc Eagles went 1-1 in the 2A-6 district tournament.
Des Arc beat Carlisle 52-46 in the 8-9 seed game then ended its season with a 39-35 loss to McCrory in the second round.
Against Carlisle, Des Arc trailed 13-12 after one quarter. The Eagles outscored the Bison 10-7 in the second quarter to lead 22-20 at halftime.
The Eagles outscored the Bison 13-11 in the third quarter and 17-15 in the fourth quarter.
Brayden Knupp led Des Arc with 20 points. Jaxon Craig had 16. Camp Skarda had six. Brody Swaim had five. Brady Cain had four.
Cajuan Pernell and Zayden Hale led the Bison with 13 points each. Tyler Thrift had 10. Israel King had six. Mason Boyle had three.
In the loss to McCrory, the Eagles trailed 11-7 after one quarter and 17-12 at halftime.
The Eagles outscored the Jaguars 23-22 in the second half but it wasn’t enough to get the win.
Craig led Des Arc with 10 points. Knupp had eight. Swaim had six. Camp Skarda and Brady Cain had three points each. Scoring two each were Hudson Goodman and Dylan Skarda.
