Des Arc High School and the Eagles Nest are the hosts of the 2A-6 senior high district tournament this week, which includes Hazen, Des Arc and Carlisle.

On the girls side, Barton is the No. 1 seed. England is the second seed. Both have byes to the semifinals, which includes an automatic berth in next week’s regional tournament.

Marianna is the third seed, followed by 4. Carlisle, 5. Des Arc, 6. Palestine-Wheatley, 7. McCrory, 8. Hazen and 9. KIPP Delta.

Hazen played KIPP on Monday at 4:30 p.m. The winner plays Des Arc on Tuesday at 4 p.m.

Palestine-Wheatley plays McCrory on Tuesday at 7 p.m. The winner plays Marianna on Wednesday at 7 p.m.

Carlisle’s first game is Wednesday at 4 p.m. Barton plays Thursday at 4 p.m. England plays Thursday at 7 p.m.

On the boys side, England is the No. 1 seed while Barton is No. 2. They both get byes to the semifinals and are qualified for the regional tournament next week.

Carlisle and Des Arc play Monday at 6 p.m. The winner plays McCrory on Tuesday at 5:30 p.m.

Hazen plays KIPP on Tuesday at 8:30 p.m. The winner plays Marianna on Wednesday at 8:30 p.m.

Palestine-Wheatley’s first game is Wednesday at 5:30 p.m.

England’s first game is Thursday at 5:30 p.m. Barton’s first game is Thursday at 8:30 p.m.

The girls championship game is Saturday at 5:30 p.m. The boys championship game is Saturday at 7 p.m.
