The Carlisle Lady Bison have a stronghold on third place in the conference after beating Des Arc 44-30 on Friday night (Feb. 6).
The victory was Carlisle’s second of the week. The Lady Bison beat McCrory 54-20 on Thursday. The Lady Bison fell to England 43-38 last Tuesday.
In the win over Des Arc, Carlisle led 12-7 after one quarter and 24-11 at halftime. McKenna Ellis scored all 12 of Carlisle’s second-quarter points.
The Lady Bison edged Des Arc 8-6 in the third quarter then 14-13 in the fourth quarter to get the win.
Ellis led Carlisle with 25 points. Bliss Parker had nine. Presley Parker had seven. Tyler Lee had three.
Kaylee McDonald led Des Arc with 12 points. Emma Buckner had eight. Allison Collins had five. Elajah Reaves and Widener had two points each. Alana Payne had one.
Carlisle routed McCrory 53-20 on. Thursday.
Ellis led Carlisle with 16 points. She made four three-pointers. Bliss Parker and lee had 12 points each. Presley Parker had four. Angie Petrus scored three. Adisun Golden and Caroline Bokker had two points each.
In a 43-38 loss to England, Ellis led the Lady Bison with 12 points. Lee had 10. Bliss Parker had eight. Presley Parker had six. Golden had two.
